  1. Why was his term so short?

    • Legend tells that Harrison thought He was a great man, the hero of Tippecanoe (from the War of 1812). He delivered the longest (two hours) inaugural address in history on a very cold wet day. He refused to wear an over coat or hat. Then on March 26 he became ill from a cold. It is believed that this was from the effects of his exposure during his inaugural. He died a few days later. Sad story. He could been great! He could have been a contender!
